Assistant Directors

Photo Technicians

The Photo Techs Branch represents and organises photo technicians across media and entertainment.

Riggers

The Riggers Branch represents and organises riggers working in film & TV construction.

Alongside BBC, ITV and Pact, the Riggers Branch also runs the Joint Industry Grading Scheme (JIGS). Riggers joining the branch are encouraged to apply to join the scheme.

Set Crafts

Comprised of Carpenters and Scenic Painters working in film & TV construction, organising together for better pay, terms, and conditions.

Special Effects (SFX)

The Special Effects Branch represents and organises those working in film & TV special effects.

Alongside BBC, ITV and Pact, the SFX Branch also runs the Joint Industry Grading Scheme (JIGS). SFX crew joining the branch are encouraged to apply to join the scheme.

Art Technicians

The Bectu Art Technicians branch is for new and experienced art handlers, art technicians, fabricators and studio assistants seeking guidance, support and protection.

The Plasterers Branch represents and organises plasterers working in film & TV construction.

Theatres Touring Branch

The Bectu Theatres Touring Branch supports members across the touring theatre sector, including those who work under UK Theatre member employers on tour.
