Prospect seeks clarity on arm’s length bodies review
Prospect General Secretary has written to Cabinet Office Minister Georgia Gould MP on behalf of our members.
The government has announced a review into arm’s length bodies (ALBs). Prospect represents members in ALBs ranged across our public services, defence, heritage and energy sectors.
Mike Clancy, Prospect General Secretary has written to Cabinet Office Minister Georgia Gould MP to seek clarity on what the review will entail and to ask for assurances for Prospect members.
In the letter, Mike asks if the review be cross-government or department-by-department or organisation-by-organisation, whether this review has any relationship the administration budget savings plan, and if government can give any assurances on job security. Mike also stressed the importance of trade union engagement in the process.
