Understand your BBC pension

Bectu is running a webinar series to help you plan for retirement and learn how your BBC pension works. We know that many people are facing financial challenges but taking small actions now can make a big difference to your future. Whichever scheme you’re in, we can help you make the most of it.

The webinars are open to anyone working at the BBC, fortnightly and run from November 2023 – February 2024. Register here to get to grips with your pension and catch-up on the webinars you’ve missed here.

Licence to More Campaign

The BBC’s funding model has been under threat in recent years, putting the future of our members’ jobs in jeopardy. As the largest union in the BBC we campaign to protect it with our ‘Licence to More’ campaign, and will continue to lobby government for adequate funding in the future. Visit our campaign page for how you can help.
