Bectu responds to sale of ITV’s media and entertainment divisions to Sky
Sky has announced the takeover of ITV’s media and entertainment divisions including broadcast channels and ITVX streaming service pending approval from the regulator.
Philippa Childs, head of Bectu said: “If approved, this takeover has big implications for the future of the ITV workforce and for public sector broadcasting more generally, it is right that the regulators thoroughly examine this proposal and make the right decision for the long-term future of ITV.
