Bectu Vision short courses support the training needs of freelance film and television practitioners in Scotland, with a focus on scripted production.

We aim to make Scottish film and television workplaces safer, fairer and greener while developing a skilled and supported workforce.

BECTU Vision training courses are funded by Scottish Union learning and provided free of charge to freelance film and television practitioners based in Scotland. All of our courses will be delivered online unless specified otherwise. Places are allocated via an application process with priority for BECTU Members.  Not a member yet? Join today!

Job Share Coaching for Production Roles

2 session course  //  Friday 17 & Wednesday 22 September 2021, 10:00-12:30. How to job-share efficiently, make connections with potential job-share partners and be ready to approach future roles as part of a job-share in the production department.

Saturday 25 September 2021, 09:00-13:00. For those who work alongside Intimacy Coordinators, this course explores the role and how best to work with ICs to create an optimal work environment and creative results. Application deadline: Noon, Tuesday 7 September 2021.
