Bectu Vision short courses support the training needs of freelance film and television practitioners in Scotland, with a focus on scripted production.

We aim to make Scottish film and television workplaces safer, fairer and greener while developing a skilled and supported workforce.

BECTU Vision training courses are funded by Scottish Union learning and provided free of charge to freelance film and television practitioners based in Scotland. All of our courses will be delivered online unless specified otherwise. Places are allocated via an application process with priority for BECTU Members.  Not a member yet? Join today!

Managing and Promoting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing in Film & TV  Thursday 3 February 2022, 10:00-16:00. Guidance on promoting positive mental wellbeing on set and recognising when colleagues may need support.

Thursday 27 January 2022, 10:00-16:00. Industry standard accredited risk assessment training.
